libev-dev software package provides static library, header files, and docs for libev, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libev-dev
libev-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libev-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libev-dev *
You will get with libev-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
